چکیده

An experiment was conducted on mungbean (Vigna radiata L.) during three consecutive years of zaid (2016 to 2018) at Agricultural Research Station, Ummedganj, Kota (Rajasthan). The consisted 12 treatment combinations including irrigation regimes (IW/CPE ratio 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2) four fertility amendments along with foliar spray bio-regulator (100 % RDF, 100 RDF + salicylic acid ppm, 125 ppm 150% ppm) were under taken in split plot design replications. maximum grain yield (930 kg ha-1) recorded application IW/CPE 1.2 over 0.8. Significantly higher WUE (2.04 2.03 ha-mm-1) WP (0.204 0.203 m-3) regime comparison net return (Rs. 37409/- B:C (1.89) (830 840 the remained par 150 but it found significantly superior RDF. water use efficiency (2.06 productivity (0.206 100% mungbean. Application gave 31272/- (1.59)

ADOPTION OF MUNGBEAN TECHNOLOGIES AND TECHNICAL EFFICIENCY OF MUNGBEAN (Vigna radiata) FARMERS IN SELECTED AREAS OF BANGLADESH

Mungbean is one of the most important pulse crops in Bangladesh. The demand of mungbean is very high due to its good taste. To date, different national institutes released 14 improve mungbean varieties with complete package of technologies and disseminated them to the farmers. But, the farm level adoption of mungbean varieties, their economics, and farmer’s efficiencies are not well known to th...

Cloning and Molecular Characterization of MIPS and Phytase from Mungbean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek)

Mungbean has claimed its rich source of protein and premium quality of starch; however the disadvantage of antinutritional factor phytic acid in monogastric animals is needed to be decreased. Understanding both upand down-stream of phytic acid biosynthetic pathway will be a great benefit for controlling the appropriate level phytic acid in legumes. Cloning of D-myo-inositol 3-phosphate synthase...

INHERITANCE OF HYPOCOTYL COLOUR AND PUBESCENCE IN MUNGBEAN (VIGNA RADIATA (L.) WILCZEK)

The mode of inheritance of seedling color and plant pubescence was studied in two crosses among three parents, which differed for these traits. The results have revealed that purple seedling color was dominant over green seedling color and pubescence was dominant over nonpubescence. These two traits segregated independently of each other may be used as morphological markers individually for dif...

Estimation of Actual Evapotranspiration, Water productivity, and Irrigation Efficiency of Wheat Fields in Surface and Sprinkler Irrigation Systems Using Remote Sensing

In arid and semi-arid regions, water resource management and optimization of applying irrigation water are particularly important. For optimization of applying irrigation water, the estimated values of actual evapotranspiration are necessary for avoiding excessive or inadequate applying water. The estimation of actual crop evapotranspiration is not possible in large areas using the traditional ...

Seed Yield of Mungbean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek) in relation to Growth and Developmental Aspects

Growth parameters such as leaf area (LA), total dry mass (TDM) production, crop growth rate (CGR), relative growth rate (RGR), and net assimilation rate (NAR) were compared in six varieties of mungbean under subtropical condition (24°8' N 90°0' E) to identify limiting growth characters for the efficient application of physiology breeding for higher yields. Results revealed that a relatively sma...
